If any one is looking for an update on Dave Swartz the last time i was in touch with him he was in the process changing his name to Dina and moving to Las vegas to become a show girl.
Lets all wish him luck!

....And I think Chris Hagerty is a professional marathon runner now a days.

Greetings brothers,

I would be grateful for any input that anybody might have regarding keeping ATO viable even though we are not presently active on campus at the University of Arizona. It seems that merely appealing for monies from alumni brothers without offering anything much in return, besides Homecoming festivities, does not seem like a complete approach to rebuilding our organization. Please note that a huge debt of gratitude is owed to members on the board for keeping ATO alive in Tucson, nonetheless, especially with the tireless effort of Bob Richardson.

If you have any ideas as to how to structure ATO in Tucson such that it would be of interest to fellow brothers to want to get back involved in some way, please contact me.

Thank you.
P.S. (I hope this plea is acceptable to fellow board members.)

What a great Homecoming 2003 was!
Sombreros off to Bill Gorham, Larry Adamson, Whip Manning and everyone setting it up. We had a great time. I counted 32 brothers from the late '50s - Amazing! I know there may have been more. Just think of how great it could have been if the others we know could have made it. Many thanks to those who made it and helped create such a great series of events and a time to remember. Hopefully, we can have another great gathering. Looking forward to reminiscing with old friends.

Re. the 60's fantasy camp, for alternative lodging if the old house isn't available, maybe some sort of facility could be found somewhat near town that hosts groups and provides meals. For this reunion, maybe having us a little isolated would be best for the general public.

A few years ago, Frank Blazek sent me a video of movies that Larry Anderson had taken around the house. It reminded me how tight the 60's brothers were and how much fun we had. (I have to admit that I didn't recognize myself at first as that thin guy with hair.)

Anyway, I was thinking how "dape" it would be if we could relive some of that time and get together for a few days. Think of it as a 60's ATO fantasy camp. My recollection is that the house became a dorm for the medical school, but maybe we could rent it out if there are any vacant weeks. (I wonder if they kept our room the same georgous dark brown that Frank and I painted it after a few beers?) Otherwise we could find alternative housing.

Activities could include a golf tournament, softball game, boondocker with old songs around the fire, Rusty leading a trip to Peppersauce cave, etc. We could finish off with a Mu Mu type party with the wives included (if they'd even come).I think if the alumni assoc. could put this together, it would be a great fundraiser if they charged us about $1,000 apiece, and I think we would have one hell of a time!
(If you don't remember the 60's, all the better!)

Great site, how come so little use of this feature. Will be happy to see the Tyndall bunch at homecoming. Calahan's phone number in the directory doesn't reach him, can anybody tell me where Eddie might be?

Good to visit again the great, improved EB site. Great job, Richardsons. Found out my data, among other things, needed updating. Also liked the few Guestbook entries -- wouldn't it be great to read more? Here's to meeting under the tent at Homecoming 2002.

July 4th was once again celebrated at the fabulous home of Jim and Pam Muzzy overlooking Irvine Cove in Laguna Beach, CA. Magnificent fireworks show and great bar-b-q as always. Along with Jim and myself other Bros in attendance included Neil Stolz, Paul Moir, Larry Hastings and Dave Bray. Always a lot of laughs to get together and enjoy the friends from ATO. Funny how important that "friendship" thing becomes as one realizes the truth and meaning of the word. I guess old Otis and the boys were on to something!

How about some of you guys who hit on this site adding some of your thoughts and info?
Question....how many of you out there really care whether or not Epsilon Beta is reborn?

It is nice to stay in touch with the brothers that we knew and spent countless hours with (all of them good ones) in college. It seems so long ago. San Diego California has been a great place for reunions as I have run across my big bro, Cass Colbourne as well as Jeffrey Byrd, who I am happy to say has been recently married. This is a great site and I look forward to many more reunions in the future.

This new web site is a terrific idea. Bob and Pat deserve applause for their efforts. I hope many of the brothers get the word to come to the site. Also the use of the new Credit Card payment of dues should be very effective. I hope all the brothers will use this to make some contribution. I want to particularly thank the hardcore group from Tucson and the commuter Bill Malcomb for all the time, money and effort they spend in keeping EB moving ahead. We slackers out here in the countryside appreciate what you are doing.

Although it is very interesting to hear what the plans are for EB and about the various functions going on in Tucson, would it be possible to create an area on the web site for the brothers to input “Where I am and What I’ve been doing.” It would be great to see photos of the brothers now along with their families. I think this would encourage greater participation and repeat visits to the site.

Thanks again for making this possible. Keep up the good work.

On the death of Brother Carl Gordon '61: Tragic to lose a Brother like "The Chief" at such a young age. Carl was a fun loving guy, good athlete and student and a leader during his time at Epsilon Beta. When Paul Moir and I ran Carl's "Help Week" it was clear to us that he was the glue that held that bunch of "scummies" together. Carl moved East and most of us didn't get to see him again but that doesn't mean we didn't think of him at times. His old roomies Mike Carr and Ron Rothacher would call him after a couple of beers at about 3AM East coast time to say hello. His wife didn't think it so amusing!

Carl will be missed.

Wow. It is about time we caught up with each other. Technology & the desire to stay in touch, have been blended into a great service for ATO Alumni, so that we may do that. No reason now, not to check your city, state, and drop a note. If you are traveler, like I am, it is nice to call a Brother when you come into town. This web site, thanks to some hard work makes that all possible. Great Job Uncle Bob, Pat, the rest of the torch bearers. L & R

Hello EB brothers from a long lost 1966 EB bro. from Texas. Enjoy keeping up with the EB news. Keep up the good work. I read the new future vision of EB. It isn't what I remembered but I believe it is on course.

I would like to suggest that the new ATO vision could include a strong community outreach requirement that would take the place of the dreaded pledge period. This could be a requirement for a number of hours served to do Habitat for Humanity, volunteer hours on a myriad of projects that would allow the fraternity to gain community status and support. Believe it or not Sororities would love to join the efforts and that could be accomplished also. Life is becoming harder for our upcoming brothers and they need to be better prepared.

I would also like to suggest that brothers who are successful in life maybe commit to hiring some of the fraternity brothers as interns in their business allowing the brothers to network effectively and prepare for future life. Just the mere fact that EB is becoming connected again is exciting and with the 1100 members I am sure new ideas and support will be easier to accomplish. My EB days were some of the best ever but not all that I learned was useful. Maybe with some new ideas and a new focus for life enrichment will our future EB brothers benefit in fantastic ways. Keep up the great work ! JWL

Great & huge first step into our era! Clean & crisp site -- clear & intuitively easy to navigate, especially for elderly bros. If any of us have access to internet "finder" sites or CDs we would do the cause some good in finding some of the "lost." By the way, anyone hear of the whereabouts of Nick Beers, from New Mexico (Roswell?) in 1953- 55 era?

Kudos to Bob and Pat for their efforts in connecting EB to cyberspace. This has been a terrific amount of time and effort on their part and now deserves the support of all the brothers. For those of you who come to the site please look for "lost brothers" and if you know where they are get them online to our site.

On behalf of the Building Company Board of Directors, we'd like to extend our sincere thanks to Brother Patrick Hayman, '83, for his work in designing this new website for EB ATO. Pat's hard work will help the brothers stay in touch for years to come. I especially appreciate Pat's patient work with me. I know just enough about websites to be dangerous, but Pat was helpful and kind walking me through the process. I hope if any Brother is looking for help designing a website, or a great place to host an existing site, you'll consider Pat. You can link to his company by clicking on the "Red B Design" link at the bottom of this page. Thanks, Pat! You've served the Brotherhood well!
