Alpha Tau Omega Epsilon Beta Photos From the 1960's and 1970's
This picture comes from former EB WM David Gallagher. It's a look at the head table at the banquet in February, 1979, when the charter returned to Epsilon Beta. You can see the charter leaning on the podium. The Chapter Adviser Bob Richardson is at the far left. Then Worthy Grand Chief Patrick I. Brown is in the tan suit. In the grey suit is then University of Arizona Greek Adviser Kent Rollins who recently retired as the long time head of the University of Arizona Alumni Association. Then Caroline Musgrave. At the far right, is then ATO Expansion Director Mark O. Thorsby.
This is at the same Charter Banquet. Chapter President Dave Gallagher (right) is preparing to offer the chapters' pledges their oath. Dave sent in this picture and he remembers some of the names. Can anyone fill in the blanks? That's Walt Krisa on the far left, don't know the next three, then Paul Dedarian (nicknamed "The Nose"), the next person is unknown, then Mike Merrimac and John Inanucci. If you know any of the others, send us an e-mail to let us know. Thanks.
This picture was taken in Denver, Colorado, at the then annual ATO Congress. On the left is Mark Thorsby, who was then Expansion Director for the Fraternity. Mark later became Executive Director. Pete Wentis is in the middle, and that's Bob Richardson on the right. This was the first Congress Epsilon Beta attended as it was recolonizing in the late 1970's. And in case you're wondering, those are Denver Bronco cheerleaders.
